The Archbishop survived. He was trying to catch me out this week by saying that Easter is tomorrow, but somehow I already knew there are two Easters per year.
But, he still needed to hit me with the propaganda, "there is no Easter without Passover!"
Must be at least three Easters per yer, cuz Orthodox Easter is in May this year! But regular Western Eastern happened at the end of Passover this year as indeed it should ... and next year it won't and Orthodox Easter will ... so maybe your Archbishop has his years mixed up?
Harder to keep track of those things since I'm not in NOLA anymore. The tempo of that place is centers around Lent.
I've never been completely sure about him. Even though he gave me his business card back when he was just a bishop, I wasn't able to find him on associated with any dioceses for any denomination.
But why would you occasionally show up at a coffee shop in your cellar and a tailor's cap if you weren't.
He's also one of the Cane Men in my stories about three old men getting into trouble. The other two are down and out characters based on dudes I knew in New Orleans. C. Is semi-respectable. Like Last of the Summer Wine with con-men in NOLA.
