Currently at Bancroft: 9. Still got the water hooked up here, even later than last year. There's been a number of nights of getting up every hour to run the water, which in the last couple of weeks has suited me well because there's been so much going on in the sky. Of which more sometime.
Today's lesson in being less of a spaz: when you're making soup, and you get distracted and it burns on the bottom, instead of panicking and scraping the burnt soup into the not-burnt soup, pour the soup into another pot. This occurred to me after I had scraped a bit of the burnt soup into the not-burnt soup, so I guess that was some kind of milestone on my way to being less of a spaz.
