Bugs in the weather system

Currently at Toronto Pearson: 6. High today: 15, again, though today that would be a couple of degrees short of the old record, which, being about eight degrees higher than yesterday's old record, goes to show how much daily records are worth.
Bugs were more plentiful in the backyard today, though mostly small and fleeting. There were lots of ants running around--
--and a bunch of these things--
--which look like mosquitos but I think are something else--possibly they are the same as the thing on the daisy here--and which I think were floating around out there in December.
