High temp today, here: 2. Dewpoint then: -1. High dewpoint: 0.
High temp today in TO: 1. Dewpoint then: 1. High dewpoint: 1.
Current temp outside the door: 3.1. RH: 73%.
The fambly's been to feast upon the roasted beast. The beast was somewhat overroasted, but hardly beastly. However, black bean soup is not a hit with the kids. Go figure.
I've long wondered why whoever came up with the Gregorian calendar didn't fix Christmas as January 1st. Wikipedia says the Gregorian calendar was instituted to nail Easter down--but then, why not fix Easter as January 1st? Why does January 1st have no apparent significance? (Why is the Semagic spellchecker on? Why is it flagging words like "apparent" and "significance"? Why can't I figure out how to turn it off?) It's aggravating!
