Bit better muskie weather

High temp today, here: 26. Dewpoint then: 16. High dewpoint: 17.
High temp today in TO: 27. Dewpoint then: 14. High dewpoint: 16.
A touch of summer back in the air today--somewhat reassuring. Here's another hypothesis: dewpoint < 15 = "dry".
Michael Kuss says "hot and sticky" tomorrow in southwestern Ontario, with a forecast high of 27. Normal highs are falling off significantly, though, so. (On the other hand, his map tonight had a warm front retreating off the screen to the south, and there's just no excuse for that.) In the olden days the first week at Buckhorn would've just ended, and I'd be agonizing for summer to come back so the muskies would bite.
I've decided there's no way around it--I'm starting into Discipline and Punish. Well, might as well--eventually someone is likely to call my bluff on that "Foucault" appearing in my so-called Areas of Specialization. (Perhaps I ought to be more pressingly concerned about someone calling my bluff on that "phenomenology" appearing in my dissertation and/or SPEP paper.) But the chances are looking slimmer and slimmer of getting some writing polished off before I go back to York.
