(I asked L. today if she thought it was cooler or less humid today than it has been most of the week. She said both. This is my first bit of evidence toward the confirmation of my hypothesis that people can't actually tell, with any fine degree of discernment, how humid it is, just by the feel of the air. I'm pretty sure I can't, anyway.)
