Chance of thunderstorms back in the forecast for tomorrow--lake-effect showers and flurries for Thursday. Might be the first cold front of the season that drags streamers behind it off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Looks like a good chance there won't be a Gamma.
Hard to believe I was here two days ago. Hard to believe I wasn't here today. There have been several weeks in the last two days.
There was a defence, and it was not only non-disastrous, but even--so I'm told--good. There was pad thai lacking in pad thai-iness. There was a Jacksonlesley--or is that a Lesleyjackson? or a Lesjackleyson? Jacklesonley? Lesjacksonley? Jacklesleyson?--at a Very Special Episode of Thursday Night at Sneaky Dee's, featuring Sonia. There was a cheeseburger, and beer, and a White Russian, and it was not good for my hiatus hernia. There were a lot of peanut butter cookies, and now there are a couple. Still to come there is Sammy's, and blackened fish. Eventually there will be port, and cigars, and poker, and ... who knows?
On the way back today, there were three deer standing in a field. (Whenever I see deer, I think: those deer have a home somewhere. Somewhere, out there, those deer live.)
