I'm not at all surprised at the number of drafts sitting around. The number of things I start to write and never finish is large.

Since the last time I posted, I wanted to talk about different meanings of "understand" (someone had quoted both Wittgenstein and Feynman using the word in different ways, and although Feynman expressly contradicted Wittgenstein, the speaker not only didn't notice it, he denied they meant something different.)

I also wanted to talk about immigration since I saw some strange data from the 1920s that makes me think that the implications of immigration may be reversed from the usual ideas.

And then there was whatever's up with employment and the new normal.

So yes, if I get an idea for a post that I don't finish about once a week, I can believe you start one you don't finish every other month or so.
