They’d prefer that we had Facebook." This is something I've been saying for a long time. Although what we're heading toward is having Facebook, Google, and Amazon (and, of course, their subsidiaries. Back in the five minutes when #deletefacebook was a thing (and I was thinking that making #nationalizefacebook a thing would be a funny idea), I saw something talking about people switching from facebook to instagram. Which is kinda like, keep your facebook hands off my instagram!)

2. Is facebook still just a platform and not a media company?
