Currently at Toronto Pearson: 10. High today: 13.

The big puddle is smaller, though still pretty big, and now teeming, in places, with fairy shrimp:

The weird plant things seem even more likely to be tree suckers:

ETA: via this very nice blog, I learned that the yellow downward flowers are trout lilies, and the tree-like things are May apples ... though of course each of them have several other names besides.
