With mickle fear and dread of thee
May. 16th, 2013 02:34 amCurrently at Toronto Pearson: 15. High today: 24.
These two bumblebees were fighting over the neighbours' lilac bush, which pokes into our yard, all afternoon:

Planted the nightshades today, and the seeds from last year's squash (which I'm glad I saved, since for some reason none of the local stores have acorn squash seeds), and some other fancy kind of squash (nine seeds in a packet for $2.89, what?), and radishes. Learned what stinging nettle looks like as a result of grabbing one--do not recommend. It felt remarkably like a bee sting. Tomorrow, planting some flowers, and seeds of flowers. And then, away again. This is getting dizzying.
