I spent quite some time yesterday and today trying to get a picture of one of the many little butterflies that have been careening around everywhere this week, sometimes in twos and threes. They're remarkably camera-shy; I could swear they see me coming at twenty feet. The trick is to let them come to you. I finally got this one today:



They appear to be Red Admirals, but maybe half the usual size.
