High today, here: 19. Dewpoint then: 1. High dewpoint: 3.
High today in TO: 15. Dewpoint then: 0. High dewpoint: 3.
Low today on the balcony: 4. High: 20.6. Currently: 10.9.
Only hit 18.6 at the UW station, so the brass thermometer's still out there--but the forecasts now have 12-15 for Saturday, so it's not looking good.
And there was a draft. It was, undoubtedly, the most exciting thing since my defence. Maybe more exciting, mostly because of the ticking clock--90 seconds per pick. The whole thing was done in under an hour. I have Bonds. I really wanted Bonds, despite everything. But together with Griffey and Giambi, that gives me a very fragile team. And Schilling. I also kind of need Chone Figgins to steal 100 bases.
I'd been thinking maybe I ought to pick up Sundin. Six points would've been nice, I guess. But it's all academic now, anyway. Hockey regular season, and therefore hockey fantasy season, ends Tuesday, and then maybe I come back from cloud cuckooland. Unless the Leafs make the playoffs. Man. Wow. Mercy.
