No more monkeys jumping on the bed
Dec. 1st, 2005 11:42 pmHigh temp today, here: 0. Dewpoint then: -3. High dewpoint: -3.
High temp today in TO: 2. Dewpoint then: -2. High dewpoint: -2.
And now, snow again. Small snow.
The doctor agrees: typing hurts arm. He suggests massage. Taken under advisement. He emphasizes, without prompting, that the arm business does not mean I'm having a stroke. I suspect that the last few months' barrage of YOU MAY BE HAVING A STROKE IF ... ads have resulted in a barrage of people who may be having a stroke.
Greatly to my surprise, I think I may be growing to like The Colbert Report.
Finally got around to finishing The Hours. God help me, but the ending choked me up, despite the fact that this book consistently annoyed me, and I knew exactly what was coming at the end (having seen the movie, etc.). I really, frankly, do not understand why. Especially given that he adds an extra line that wrecks the symmetry with Dalloway. Bah.
The last book that choked me up was Some of Your Blood by Theodore Sturgeon. Hum.
