Today I bought another card. Not to send, but to give, to L.'s sister, from us, with gift cards, for gas. I looked through Hanukkah cards (no, they're not, it's just me), but none were quite ... right. I looked through "to a special girl" cards, but none were quite ... right. Then I started looking through non-holiday cards, for a card with a dog--preferably a bulldog--on the front. I found a card with a sad-looking lab. I pulled it up, and beside the sad-looking lab was an earnest-looking orange tabby cat. I opened the card, and it said:
"we have to pee."
I fell over laughing.
