Haven't seen the sun in seven days
Oct. 13th, 2005 11:24 pmHigh temp today, here: 15. Dewpoint then: 13. High dewpoint: 13.
High temp today in TO: 14. Dewpoint then: 12. High dewpoint: 13.
Continued easterlies. One low pressure cell after another running up the east coast, kicking easterly winds and cloud and mist and fog back over the lower Great Lakes. It's kind of like the fall monsoons, but it's not the fall monsoons. Not enough rain, and a bit too warm. It's the phony fall monsoons. The real fall monsoons follow the jet stream across the continent--the main jet is still riding high over Hudson Bay.
Maybe someone will turn the heat on soon.
The revised edition of The Fragility of Goodness actually only has a new preface. And typographical and bibliographical corrections. Which is good, since someone has recalled it.
